One of the classic cocktails, also referred to as "Cosmo", and easily one of the more fun cocktails almost any drink lover can enjoy. This one is made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice (or a sour mix), all served in a cocktail glass. Its peak fame came in the 90s along with HBO's TV show “Sex and the City”, but it maintained its popularity ever since. After being categorized as a very feminine drink, it broke that barrier pretty quickly when the male crowd also fell in live with it's fresh taste and funky sex appeal.

Ingredients

1 1/2 -2 ounces citrus vodka (don't worry, any vodka will do the trick)

1 ounce Cointreau

1/2 ounce fresh lime juice or fresh sour mix

1 dash - 1/2 ounce cranberry juice - just make sure it's not too sweet

Instructions

1. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake it shake it shake it, until you feel the mix is chill enough.

2. Pour into your chilled cocktail glass

3. Garnish with a lime or a lemon twist
